This is a revolutionary idea. And the packaging is hilarious.
This is a great prototype but the operation is a little sticky due to it being 3D printed and rough in certain spots. It will work much better when it’s mass produced with smooth, injection-molded plastic. Buy one now to help them fund mass production! I intend to buy 10 of these once full production is up and running.
I think that this speed loader is great and has a very creative design. The only thing I’d like to add to this is some sort of belt clip. It looks like there might be space for a small clip to be added on the back but idk since I’m not an engineer. Outside of that I think it’s great
I designed a pocket clip. But I couldn't figure out a good way for users to remove it if they didn't need it.
I'll have to spend some more time on it.
Thank you for the suggestion.
I love the design and it works great. Looking forward to the injection molded version.
Initial thoughts: great design, but the materials used leave the speed loader feeling as though it may break from being dropped from pocket height if loaded. As advertised, the speed loader is made from 3d printed materials.
Functionally, I have not had any issues after a couple hundred reloads. While practicing, I made sure to reload over the bed or couch, as I was afraid dropping in the hardwood floor repeatedly would break it. I did drop it once while it was fully loaded on the floor, and although it did not break, it did snap close.
As a proof of concept, I’m very pleased with the speed loaders. I wouldn’t carry them in my rear pocket if I plan to sit down, but would and do carry in my jacket pocket.
I hope that this model is improved upon by giving it more durable materials, as I would gladly order several more then. I also hope a belt carrier of some sort would be released for it.
Also, as a side note; has some of the most clever packaging I’ve ever seen for a product.
